Chef Meets BC Grape 2017

13th annual ChefmeetsBCGrape is featuring the largest Grand Tasting of BC VQA Wines and a celebration of the best culinary talent in the Calgary, Victoria and Vancouver food scenes.
Award-winning chefs and BC winemakers will come together to bring a taste of BC Wine Country to each city. More than 85 BC wineries will pour over 350 award-winning Wines of British Columbia at Vancouver’s walk-around tasting featuring “pop-ups” of the city’s hottest restaurants and chefs serving their signature dishes in small plate portions.
Guests will sip and taste their way through the room, enjoying dishes created by chefs as a “perfect pairing” with a specifically chosen BC VQA wine, all while interacting with chefs and winemakers.
A panel of culinary and media judges along with guests will vote on their favourite dish and pairing to determine the winner of the ChefmeetsBCGrape Challenge. A ChefmeetsBCGrape Finale event in summer 2017 will bring the regional winning chefs and their creations to the Okanagan.
