SUMMARY:Greasy Spoon Vol 41 feat Chef Alexandrea Fladhamer
DESCRIPTION:The Greasy Spoon Diner is truly one of a kind. It pairs the best chefs in the world with the legendary Save On Meats to create a monthly four-course dining experience. Chefs trade in their tweezers for tongs\, creating four courses inspired by diner food.\n\n\n\nThe meal is paired with cocktails made by award-winning bartenders\, as well as craft beer and wine. The best part: it helps feed and employ members of our community. It’s an opportunity to re-connect with purpose\, enjoy an exceptional meal with people who share the same values\, and hear about the work being done to serve those less fortunate. The Greasy Spoon is the easiest way to make a big impact while having a great time\, every time.\n\n2018 is all about highlighting chefs who happen to be female.\n\nIf purchasing tickets individually as apart of a group\, please email us to sit together: info@abetterlifefoundation.ca\n\nWe look forward to having you.

Katsuji Tanabe has worked inside LA’s most acclaimed kitchens\, rom the four-star Bastide Restaurant to Beverly Hills’ Mastro’s Steakhouse. Tanabe owns MexiKosher Restaurant\, the first authentic Kosher Mexican restaurant in Los Angeles and arguably the first of its kind in the entire United States. He recently expanded Mexikosher to the Upper West Side of New York City and soon plans to open Baranda in Los Angeles\, a more upscale dining experience\, named after his daughters Barbara and Miranda. Tanabe is proud to serve his community as a personal mentor and celebrity representative for Jewish Big Brothers & Big Sisters in Los Angeles. He happily offers his time and expertise for fundraising and volunteer drives for the group\, as well as regularly working alongside the children that the group supports teaching healthy eating and cooking alternatives. This is not your ordinary dinner out and it’s not just about the food. We offer complementary wine and beer pairings for our members with their meals and a welcome glass of bubbles upon arrival. But that’s not what makes us truly unique. What sets us apart from anything ever done before is our presentation. We are offering an experience. Each dinner venue is transformed by a local design company to capture the essence of the chef. The chef is our Rockstar and we want you to feel you stepped into their world when you walk through the doors. As such the venues are decorated around each chefs personality. For example\, our first chef from Italy who now resides in New York will have an Italy meets Brooklyn feel to the room. Our second Chef a former drummer will have a California cool / Rockstar feel. No other night out offers a more complete experience to share with important clients or loved ones! Not to mention some amazing local talent to serenade our diners with their melodic notes!\nVisiti www.nomaddinnerclub.com for more information.
