SUMMARY:Vancouver International Wine Festival 2025
DESCRIPTION:The Vancouver International Wine Festival is Canada’s premier food and wine event\, dedicated to three key goals: providing an engaging and educational wine experience for both the public and industry professionals\, offering top-tier marketing opportunities for wineries and festival partners\, and raising funds for the Bard on the Beach Theatre Society. The 2025 festival will take place from February 22 to March 2. \n\n\n\nKnown as VanWineFest\, this prestigious event is regarded as one of North America’s best wine festivals. With approximately 18\,000 admissions and a 46-year history\, it is also among the largest and longest-running wine festivals globally. Its slogan\, “The Wine World is Here\,” reflects its international reach. For eight consecutive years\, New York’s BizBash has named it the “#1 Food\, Wine & Hospitality Event in Canada.” The festival’s Trade Days\, running from February 26-28 in 2025\, will feature 12 of the festival’s 43 events\, catering specifically to industry professionals. \n\n\n\nAt the heart of the festival is the Tasting Room\, where attendees can explore nearly 800 wines at four International Festival Tastings. Industry professionals have exclusive access to these wines during two dedicated Trade Tastings. Surrounding the Tasting Room are approximately 35 special events\, including seminars\, vintage tastings\, winery dinners\, lunches\, brunches\, and minglers\, showcasing an additional 550 wines. \n\n\n\nThe 2025 festival will welcome 122 wineries from 15 countries. Each year\, a different region or country takes center stage\, with a dedicated section in the Tasting Room\, themed seminars\, and exclusive food and wine pairings. In 2025\, the spotlight will shine on West Coast U.S. wines.
