The GREEK Yaletown Celebrates 10 Years with an All-Day Happy Hour

On March 12th, The Greek Yaletown is marking a decade of success with an all-day customer appreciation event featuring a special Happy Hour menu. To thank its loyal patrons, the restaurant will offer some of its most beloved dishes at unbeatable prices, starting at just $3, with local beers and house sangria available for only $5.

When The Greek Yaletown opened 10 years ago, it was the first expansion beyond North Vancouver for the Makris family, who have run the renowned Anatoli Souvlaki since 1984. The family’s authentic Greek recipes and warm hospitality quickly made The Greek Yaletown a staple for celebrations, healthy lunches, and intimate dinners. Over the years, it has become a cherished part of the Yaletown community, welcoming new and returning guests with open arms.

To commemorate this milestone, the restaurant is offering an exclusive one-day-only Anniversary Happy Hour menu. Guests can enjoy crowd favorites such as Hummus or Keftedes for just $3, Calamari or Pork Souvlaki for $4, and Greek Salad or Chicken Souvlaki for $5. As a sweet treat, every guest will receive a mini baklava as a “birthday cake” to celebrate the occasion.

“We were a little nervous when we first opened in Yaletown,” said Iani Makris. “It was our first venture outside North Vancouver, but the community embraced us, and we are thrilled to celebrate this anniversary with them.” His brother, Alexi, added, “Yaletown has become a second home for our family, and we couldn’t be more grateful.”

Recent renovations, including kitchen upgrades and a brand-new bar, ensure an even better dining experience for guests. Visit thegreekbyanatoli.com to view the full menu and learn more about all four
