Chancho Tortilleria, a popular Mexican restaurant in Vancouver, has reopened in a new location on Commercial Drive. The restaurant offers the same delicious menu as before, as well as some exciting new additions.

To celebrate the new location, Chancho is hosting a soft opening April 14 – 17, 2023, and $1 from each order will be donated to Kinbrace, an East Vancouver charity that helps refugees settle into the community.

The new location, previously known as Cafe Deux Soleils, has 70 seats and an expanded tortilleria, which means more diners can enjoy Chancho’s freshly made tortillas crafted from non-GMO heirloom native corn sourced directly from Mexican farmers. The menu features traditional Mexican dishes, including juicy carnitas and grilled fresh veggies, along with a boosted drinks menu of natural wines, Mezcals, and new cocktails.

The restaurant is open until 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and until 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday, with plans for extended hours in the coming months.
