Mott 32 + Phantom Creek Winemaker’s Dinner

Mott 32 Vancouver and Phantom Creek Estates will join forces to present a winemaker’s dinner at the renowned Vancouver restaurant. This culinary event, taking place on Monday, July 17 at 6 p.m., will showcase the fusion of world-class Chinese cuisine and the fine wines from South Okanagan’s wine region.

The dinner will feature signature dishes inspired by Cantonese, Szechuan, and Beijing cuisine, which are expertly paired with the latest releases from Phantom Creek’s Kobau Vineyard on Golden Mile Bench in South Okanagan.

The evening will be hosted by Mott 32 Vancouver Wine Director Robert Stelmachuk, consulting winemaker Olivier Humbrecht MW, France’s first Master of Wine, and Mark Beringer, Director of Winemaking from Phantom Creek. Beringer, the great-great-grandson of Jacob Beringer, one of the founders of Beringer Vineyards, is excited to share the newly released Kobau red vintages, currently exclusive to Phantom Creek wine club members.

Stelmachuk, named Vancouver Magazine’s 2020 Sommelier of the Year, will guide guests through the wine pairings, ensuring the finest flavors of each ingredient are highlighted.
