The 2023 BC Seafood Festival will be held at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, situated in the scenic Comox Valley. Visitors can expect breathtaking views, an abundance of seafood, and an unforgettable experience. The BC Seafood Festival has been proudly hosted in the Comox Valley since 2006.

The Comox Valley, located on Vancouver Island, is responsible for over 50% of British Columbia’s shellfish production, including the highest amount of oysters in Canada. The BC Seafood Festival, previously known as the BC Shellfish Festival, will celebrate its 15th anniversary this June 2023. What began as a single dinner event organized by the BC Shellfish Growers Association (BCSGA) has evolved into a two-day festival promoting the growing shellfish industry.

Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the BC Seafood Festival has grown to become the largest seafood festival in Western Canada. This year, the festival is returning to the Comox Valley at Mount Washington Alpine Resort, featuring a range of seafood-filled dinners, competitions, master classes, and tastings. Visitors can look forward to celebrating and raising awareness about BC’s award-winning seafood producers, chefs, and experiences.
