Who said learning and fun can’t be had at once?
We’re excited to invite our Vancouver community to our pop up shop on Main Street, for an evening of education, great tunes and delicious drinks!
We recently launched The Impossible Fibre, a research project focused on closing the loop on cotton! We’re setting out to find a way to recycle the our well loved clothes and turn them into something new. You can learn more about the project here: https://sitka.ca/blogs/news/welcome-to-the-impossible-fibre
We’ve invited the wonderful and knowledgeable Sara Blenkhorn and Natalie Farrell to speak to you about smart consumer choices as we head into the holiday season, as well as what is in the clothes we’re buying!
The evening will include music from Ursidae, Jon Middleton & Sierra Lundy!
We’ll be pouring $5 beers from Postmark Brewing, a selection of cider from Sea Cider Farm & Ciderhouse and of course our signature Sitka Vodka cocktails from De Vine Vineyards – Winery & Distillery to help loosen things up!
To avoid creating paper and plastic waste we ask that you BRING YOUR OWN BEER MUG. Don’t fret if you forget, we will be selling take home stickered mason jars for $3.
We’ve also ordered treats from Cartems Donuts! Who doesn’t love free donuts?
All proceeds from the event are contributed to our Sitka Society for Conservation (SSC).
