French Gastronomy Series: The Easter Roast

Introducing a cooking class series that will take you on a culinary tour of France! Every class brings you to a different region or tradition from France. While learning about culinary and cultural facts, you will be demonstrated a main dish typically crafted in that region or for that particular event. You will then sit in the restaurant room and enjoy this dish with a glass of wine.
Today, we will take bring you to a French Easter Dinner Party and demonstrate some very traditional way of cooking lamb and other Easter favorites. The recipes demonstrated:
Spring Asparagus with Hollandaise Sauce: Seasonal greens with a buttery sauce
Seven Hours Leg of Lamb: The easiest, most tender lamb dish you can ever make
Easter Bird’s Nest Cake: a traditional dessert to serve all week-end long
During the demonstration, you will enjoy one serving of all dishes (or bring your desert serving home, bring a container just in case). You will be served a glass of wine during the class, paired for the food, and a welcome snack (additional wine available for purchase). Take home printed recipes.
