French Gastronomy Series: West Coast Fish
February 28, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm PST

Introducing a cooking class series that will take you on a culinary tour of France! Every class brings you to a different region of France. While learning about culinary and cultural facts, you will be demonstrated a main dish typically crafted in that region. You will then sit in the restaurant room and enjoy this dish with a glass of wine.
Today, we will take you to the French Atlantic Coast and demonstrate some very traditional way of cooking fish and seafood. The recipes demonstrated:
White Wine Mussels: a French classic that can be served as an appetizer or main
Bisque: Flavorful seafood soup, so rich that it can be used as a sauce!
Salt Crust Sea Bass: a unique way to cook a whole fish and retain its full flavor
Sauce “Beurre Blanc”, the one and only sauce to serve with any seafood dishes
During the demonstration, you will enjoy sample size of all dishes, with a glass of wine.
You will be served a glass of wine during the class, paired for the food, and a welcome snack (additional wine available for purchase). Take home printed recipes.
Hope to see you there!
