Japanese Canadian Heritage Cooking Class – Fun Gyoza Lab w/ Kimiko Suzuki!

Wonderful and informative cooking instructor Kimiko Suzuki shows us some simple gyoza techniques using three delish fillings and spicy dips

KIMIKO’S TASTY SUMMER GYOZA MENU:

  • Free range pork & ginger dumplings
  • Vegetarian option: napa & shiitake
  • Easy to make spicy shrimp & scallion filling
  • Learn how to fill, elegantly fold, then pan fry your own gyozas
  • Creative trio of umai dipping sauces (rayu, sesame, yuzu kosho!)
  • Gyoza plates served w/ rice, Japanese pickles, salad, suika & shiso soda!

Cook’s Bio: Kimiko Suzuki is a multi-talented Vancouver cooking instructor and specialty moss artist; she has taught cooking classes for UBC Farm, Nourish, and Cook Culture.
