Japanese Canadian Heritage Cooking Class: Shoku On The Go! w/ Michael Ouchi

Michael cooks up a crash course in two yummy Japanese cuisine classics—quick, nutritious & warming during winter: oyako donburi & dorayaki.
MICHAEL’S SHOKU ON THE GO MENU:
- Oyakodon is a Japanese meal-in-a-bowl favourite of chicken & egg over hot rice
- Sample some homemade Japanese pickles!
- Intro to dorayaki* pancakes & anko, a versatile and energy-packed bean paste filling
- Plus alternate fillings using shiroan white bean paste: matcha & cocoa
- Served with hot green tea, seasonal fruit & double chocolate mochi brownie bites!
- (Custom take away boxes for leftover dorayaki etc.)
*dora means “gong” in Japanese
