LIVE MUSIC:

Emily Taylor Adams , a born and raised Langley singer songwriter, has a love for music that goes far beyond just singing. Over the years Emily has had the opportunity of recording and working with many incredible musicians, and performing on many stages! Winning the BCCMA female vocalist of the year award was one the highlights, as well as releasing her latest album Illuminate which you can find at the link below!

CHOW:

Chef Adrian Beaty of saltandthyme.ca has come up with a “Cowboy” Picnic just for this event. The Chef is known for his delicious creations using farm fresh ingredients and generous portions. Vegetarian and gluten free options are available however if you both want a different option you need to each purchase an individual ticket and specify your choice of food. Look at this mouth watering selection that the Chef put together for this special occasion!

LINE DANCING:

Experienced line dancer Dalton Vegh has been teaching line dancing since 2016 so put on your cowboy boots (or runners), grab your date and join him on the dance floor.

Sage and Solace Farm: (sageandsolacefarm.com) For those of you who recognize our iconic barn and know us as Early Bird Family Farm, we have exciting news. What began as a love for a simpler time and our desire to grow healthy food has grown into a unique lodging and venue facility that marries style, sustainability and soul. For urbanites looking to escape the city for a weekend getaway, team-building retreats, workshops, photoshoots, or some room to breathe, Sage & Solace Farm and Venue provides modern-vintage luxury in a pastoral setting that is sure to inspire rest and rejuvenation. Enjoy the company of our heritage free range birds and Nigerian Dwarf goats and be inspired by our incredible gardens. “Golden Hour” is spectacular at our place!

Our gorgeous contemporary farmhouse has a retro style. We aim to live green not only by farming organically but by repurposing vintage finds as an alternative to mass produced items and provide inspiration for others to design their own creative surroundings. The property sits on 20 acres of beautiful country pasture and gardens and consists of two suites, the Carriage House and the Garden View. Each of our 2 bedroom suites can be booked separately or all together for exclusive use of the property.

Things to Note:

This event will take place rain or shine. We are unable to give a refund once we have paid for the food and the musician. Of course you are welcome to come pick up your food and sit in our covered area and have your glass of wine, meet all our farm critters and listen to Emily.

Wear comfortable footwear as we have uneven terrain and birds and animals that roam our property. We encourage you to dress up and make this a special evening but if wear stilettos we will happily have you aerate our pasture but your shoes may not thank you.

We reserve the right to stop serving alcohol to any party.
