Since Yuwa Japanese Cuisine reopened its dining room not too ago, the Vancouver Restaurant Awards winner has now added a new outdoor patio that will allow guests to enjoy al-fresco dinner experiences in the heart of Kitsilano with an intimate ambience but also with safe distancing and health measures in place.
The licensed exterior area allows seating for 12 more guests to enjoy the critically acclaimed Japanese dishes wine pairing options, as well as beautiful garden dining surrounded with plenty of greenery.
Yuma’s list of health and safety protocols has been extended to the outdoor patio section to ensure the continued safety of both staff and guests.
“We’re so happy to be able to extend the boundaries of our dining room to the outdoors for the first time while the summer weather is upon us,” says Co-Owner/Sake Sommelier Iori Kataoka. “It gets an ideal amount of shade during the hottest hours of the evening, so it’s the perfect urban oasis for our guests to enjoy a little getaway with family and friends.”
Yuwa Co-Owner/Executive Chef Masahiro Omori has added a number of rotating Summer Menu Features to the menu that showcase the vibrant colours and garden-fresh flavours of the season.
Yuwa will also continue to offer its celebrated Japanese fare for takeout and contact-free pickup services, Wednesdays through Sundays. However, the delivery is on pause until further notice.
