Are you dreaming of making the perfect pies, but not sure how to get started? Today we will have you making your own pie dough and learn the basic to make the best pies!

Recipes hands on:

– All butter pie dough

– Apple galette with your own pie dough. Take home to bake in your own oven (bring a baking tray or pie dish at least 9″ wide).

Recipes demonstrated and served during the class:

– Flaky Pear, walnut and blue cheese tarts: on a thin layer of puff pastry

– Sweet Shortcrust French pie dough

– “Tarte aux Fraises”: Strawberry tart on a sweet shortcrust and vanilla pastry cream

Please note: a full meal will not be served during this class! But the demonstrated pies will be served with an assortment of teas and a welcome cheese plate with crackers to keep you waiting.

Want to save the Eventbrite fee? You can register in person and over the phone directly with the store (604) 939-6200. Payment is required when you register – visa, MasterCard, gift certificates are accepted over the phone, cash and debit in person.

We have a 72 hours cancelation policy. If you need to cancel but have not given 72 hours notice, no refund, transfer to another class or credit will be issued, but you can send somebody in your place.

Chefs will try to accommodate food allergies or dietary restrictions if given 72 hours notice. Please inquire prior to booking if there are any food concern.
