The Mid-Autumn Festival is the Chinese version of Thanksgiving and only 2nd to Chinese New Year as the most important holiday for all Chinese folks. It’s a time for people to be grateful for the bountiful harvest from the summer, appreciate their loved ones, and gaze at the moon when it’s at its biggest and brightest. The festival always happens on the 15th day of the 8th month on the lunar calendar, which falls on September 21 in 2021. Typically, people celebrate by feasting, visiting family, and giving each other mooncakes.

The Nam Dae Moon Rice Mooncake has been a fan favourite in Asia the last couple of years.
