EAT! Vancouver Dinner Series – West restaurant hosts Toronto’s DaiLo restaurant

With an impressive c.v at Toronto’s top restaurants including Scaramouche, Splendido and Niagara Street Café, executive chef Nick Liu in 2014 opened DaiLo restaurant in the city’s Little Italy neighbourhood. Credited as Toronto’s new Asian cuisine, Liu showcases his culinary talent with dishes such as fried watermelon, jellyfish slaw along with a cult following for his smoked trout wrapped in betel leaves. Globe and Mail’s esteemed food critic, Chris Nuttall-Smith declared DaiLo restaurant was destined to become one of Toronto’s best.
