Free Pancakes for IHOP National Pancake Day (February 25)
IHOP Restaurants will celebrate its seventh annual IHOP National Pancake Day in Canada on Tuesday, February 25, by inviting guests to enjoy a complimentary short stack* of IHOP’s world-famous buttermilk pancakes from 7 am - 7 pm at participating IHOP Restaurants. In return, guests are encouraged to make a difference in the community by giving a voluntary donation to benefit the local Children’s Miracle Network member hospital. Alyssa Boston, Miss Universe Canada 2019, will serve as Honorary Ambassador for National Pancake Day to promote and increase support of Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals.
Since the first National Pancake Day in Canada in 2014, guests have generously donated more than $425,000 for their local Children’s Miracle Network member hospitals. National Pancake Day began in the United States in 2006 and has raised more than $30 million for children’s health. National Pancake Day is also celebrated in Mexico, Panama, and Puerto Rico.
“Every year guests line up at IHOP Restaurants in Canada to enjoy free pancakes and every year we are overwhelmed by their generosity in support of local children in need; it is so incredibly inspiring,” said William Urrego, Vice President and General Manager, Dine Brands International, Inc., the franchisor of Canadian IHOP locations. “We are looking forward to another record-breaking year!”
Guests may also contribute to Children’s Miracle Network by purchasing a wall icon for $1, $5, $20, or $100 between now and February 25. Guests who purchase a $5 wall icon will receive a $5 coupon toward their next meal of $10 or more (valid at participating restaurants only).**
