Whisky & Words Masterclass: Science and Whisky

Join Bryan Simpson at The Sandbar restaurant for Science & Whisky, an in-depth look at the science behind Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky. Simpson will reveal the unique processes while tasting through a selection of the Glenmorangie range.

Sip while savouring canapés like Ahi poke (scallions, toasted sesame seeds, sesame oil, soy & garlic chili sauce); tomato & bocconcini with sundried tomato pesto oil; salmon nigiri; Mediterranean meatballs & feta, served on a spoon.

  • Glenmorangie Signet ($250/bottle): This dark and luscious spirit is made using “high roast” malted barley to coax out chocolate and espresso flavors, then married with other “rare and ancient” whiskies. The end result is a burnished copper glow, intense toffee aroma, resonating espresso, nut and toasty oak flavors and a lingering cinnamon-clove finish. Each sip warms all the way down. A soft, warm spirit in glossy, gift-worthy packaging.”
