Workshop @ UBC Farm: Vegetarian Japanese Cooking

$40 – $48Local Japanese food expert Kimiko Suzuki is teaching how to make an authentic home cooked Japanese meal in this hands-on class. Learn about traditional “ichiju, sansai” meals, get introduced to all the ingredients you need for real Japanese home cooking, and prepare (and eat) a delicious meal of three authentic vegetarian dishes accompanied by steamed rice.
This beginner level class will include:
- Tofu Shiraae
- Miso soup with tofu and seasonal vegetables
- Dried shiitake mushroom and carrot mixed rice
