Winter just got sweeter with the return of the Greater Vancouver Hot Chocolate Festival, celebrating its 15th anniversary from January 18 to February 14. Honolulu Coffee, known for its creative takes on beverages, is once again participating with two exciting, plant-based offerings that promise to delight and surprise.
From January 18 to February 14, Honolulu Coffee presents two exclusive vegan-friendly hot chocolates:
- Kim’s Berry ($12): This innovative twist on traditional hot chocolate combines 70% dark chocolate with creamy oat milk, aromatic strawberry, and a subtle kick of fermented Korean gochujang. The balance of sweetness and spice is complemented by a vegan strawberry cookie for an indulgent experience.
- Flora’s Glow ($12): Inspired by tropical flavours, this drink features 70% dark chocolate blended with creamy oat milk, guava, and bright orange zest, creating a citrusy burst with every sip. Paired with a vegan orange almond cookie, it offers a refreshing contrast to the rich cocoa base.
Both drinks embody Honolulu Coffee’s commitment to creativity and quality. “Crafted with care and inspired by global flavours, these drinks bring joy and innovation to our community,” says Ming Yang, owner of Honolulu Coffee. Each cup promises to be a unique flavor experience, perfect for the season.
These exclusive hot chocolates will be available at all three Honolulu Coffee locations in Vancouver: Kerrisdale, Downtown, and False Creek.
