Ajishou Japanese Cuisine [Burnaby] has just opened its 2nd location at the Amazing Brentwood, 2307b – 4525 Lougheed Highway, Burnaby, featuring their traditional sushi and other Japanese dishes with a modern-creative twist. @ajishou_japanese_cuisine
Antise [Gastown] has opened its doors at 360 Carrall St, neighboring the popular Asian/French eatery, PiDGin, specializing in handmade panettone, a sweet Italian bread. @antisevancouver
Ayam Zaman [Coquilam] has opened doors at 116-1090 Lougheed Highway, Coquitlam, serving Middle Eastern Halal food and authentic Syrian recipes. @ayam_zaman_restaurant
BarBurrito [Richmond] has opened its 10th BC location at 11666 Steveston Hwy, Richmond, in the heart of the Steveston Village. Specializing in fast, fresh and healthy Tex-Mex food, the first BarBurrito was opened in Toronto in 2005 @barburritorichmond
Bin 4 Burger Lounge [Burnaby] has opened its 2nd location in Greater Vancouver at 2350 Boundary Road, Burnaby, which is location number 6 overall of the burger-centred restaurant chain, with the Vancouver location in the South Granville area, 3 on Vancouver Island (two in Victoria and one in Nanaimo), and one in Kelowna, Okanagan. @bin4burgerlounge
Bobzaa Desert Cafe [North Vancouver] is a family-owned restaurant and dessert parlor on the North Shore and can be found at 109 E 12th St #107, North Vancouver. @vancity_bobzaa
Brightside [Greektown] is located at 3040 W. Broadway, serving coffee, eats, and wine, and is said to be run by a team that “has over two decades of experience owning and operating cafes and roasting really, really good coffee.” @drinkbrightside_
Buddha Chay [Yaletown] has opened doors at 1269 Hamilton Street, run by Stacy Le, who feels “so strongly about sharing her expression of Buddhist philosophy through food” and featuring vegetarian dishes with traditional Vietnamese ingredients, as well as pastry selection curated by local cafe Broye. @buddhachayrestaurant
Burger Crush [Downtown] has opened a new 40-seat location at 755 Nelson Street. Started in Victoria, BC the burger joint specializes in a classic cheeseburger and a vegan version, with different “secret crush sauce” dips available. The eatery also serves shakes, its own branded beers, and a few BC wines. @_burgercrush
Ça Croustille Bakery [Greektown] is a French bakery established in 2018 by two bakers from France and Belgium. After being based at local farmer’s markets, it has found a retail space located at 3273 West Broadway @cacroustillebc
Catch 122 Bistro [North Vancouver] has been a popular Vancouver brunch destination since 2012 and was recently relocated to 128 Carrie Cates Crt, North Vancouver from its former downtown location. @catch122
Chop Steakhouse & Bar [Coal Harbour] is the upscale Canadian steakhouse concept’s latest location among the 17 steakhouses across the nation. The 26-1055 Canada Place Suite dining room can host120 people inside and 100 people on its waterfront patio. The restaurant features a menu by Executive Chef Stephen Clark and has sold over 330,000 pieces of steaks. @chopsteakhouse
Courtside Food & Drinks [Mount Pleasant] is a new basketball-themed sports bar located at 2415 Main Street, expect a fun menu with food and drink items named after big Basketball legends. @courtsidemain
Darkside [Chinatown] is a new Asian Gastropub concept at 219 Union Street, run by chef Kevin Lin, and his partner Steph Wan. Both are also known to have founded Land & Sea last year. Expect fun Asia-inspired dishes like Spicy Dan-Dan Wings, Little Island Fries and 3-Cup Ebi Fry. @darksideyvr
Gastronomy [Gastown] has opened doors at 62 East Cordova st with an “Italy meets modern-day Vancouver” concept. The 39-seat eatery has a full bar and custom cocktail program. The menu feature is handmade woodfire oven pizzas with fresh, local ingredients. @gastronomygastown
Gram Café & Pancakes [Kerrisdale] has opened its 4th location at 2145 West 41st Ave, serving its signature fluffy Japanese-style pancakes. @gramcanada

Hynes’ Irish Pub & Kitchen [Kitsilano] is the newest Irish pub in the heart of Kitsilano, located at 468 West Broadway. The bar/kitchen is run by the IRL group, which operates Smith’s, Donnellan’s, Shamrock, and The Raven in Deep Cove.@hynesirishpub
It’s Okay Bar [Hasting-Sunrise] is the new neighbourhood bar at 2481 Hastings Street, that opens late. It is said to feature the vibe of a New York City bar in the 70’s, serving American-Italian bites, retro cocktails, and everything else. @itsokaybar

Mann & Co Bakeshop [Surrey] is a newly opened Indian bakery shop located at 13411 71A Avenue, Surrey, run by pastry chef Jujhar Mann. @mannandcobakeshop
Momo Factory [West End] has opened doors at 1143 Davie Street, serving the Indo-Chinese dishes that they have been serving at their original Delta location. @momofactorycanada
Neptune Palace Seafood Restaurant [Burnaby] has opened a new location at the The Amazing Brentwood in Burnaby, serving classic Cantonese cuisine including dim sum services. @neptune_palace_brentwood
Novella Coffee Bar [Mount Pleasant] can be located at 2650 Main Street. The high-end cafe serves high-quality coffee and elevated breakfast and brunch items in a cozy but elegant atmosphere. Seaport City Seafood Restaurant [Fairview] is a new fine-dining Chinese restaurant that has taken over the former Milestone’s location at 2425 Cambie St, featuring a mix of classic and modern Cantonese cuisine with premium seafood ingredients.
Sooda Kitchen & Bar [Gastown] has opened a new location in Gastown at 60 West Cordova. The original Sooda BBQ won “Best Korean” in the Best of Burnaby 2021 Awards. Expect traditional Korean flavours with fusion twists. @sooda__official
Ssong’s Hotdog [West End] is a Korean franchise that has opened the first Canadian location at 795 Jervis Street, serving Korean gourmet hotdog and popular street food from Korea. The hot dogs are said to be made with premium ingredients, all made-to-order and fried in front of customers. Sushi Mahana [North Vancouver] is a premium Japanese sushi restaurant located at 111-175 West 3rd, North Vancouver. It is said to have adapted to Kyushu style’s unexpected combinations of premium ingredients.
