This Richmond cafe already has a large online following, they create custom cakes of fantasy and whimsy like a castle cake, as well as cakes that resemble a merry-go-round. Ornate and intricate, much like their cafe’s modern decor. They also serve individual slices and cakes of sponge and cream, paired well with slow drip coffees and teas.

This new Chinatown bakery is serving the community artisan coffees and confections out of a fairy tale. Pink hot chocolate paired with cakes that resemble pink clouds. They have high gloss cakes, ones that are geometric, and others topped with hand-carved chocolate bears. You can enjoy their simple and stylized cakes as a single serving, or take one home to impress the family with.

Yandoux Patisserie

Located in Olympic Village, this cafe is already well known for their high tea service, served on a hot air balloon shaped tea tower. But for a smaller indulgence enjoy their French-style cakes that create awe and wonder. Themed creations and ones that resemble everyday things. Fruit shaped cakes, cakes that look like mushrooms, and cakes that are marbled like their cafe walls and tables.

This traditional French style cafe in Richmond gives old world charm with their embellished decor. An opulent setting befitting of their authentic fresh fruit tarts, light macrons, and flaky pastries. For cakes, look to their namesake, alongside layers of sponge and cream in chocolate, chestnut, or mango.
