About this Event

Allie Huang can’t stop talking about food. As a professional chef specializing in French cuisine, she has ventured into the realm of food science – creating the brand “Food in Formosa” – while also collaborating to open the coffee shop “The Alley No. 11” in Tainan, Taiwan. Allie combines the cultures and environment into her food products, using cuisine to express the culture’s warmth, and reshaping the bond between natural ingredients and the environment. This summer, at TAIWANfest 2019, she’ll be bringing her eye-opening story and delicious food products from Taiwan to Canada. Join Allie, and see how she brings fresh and local produce to the table in the form of high-quality cuisine!

熱情親切的說著小農如何用心的照護才能孕育食材豐厚有層次的口感,或是客觀解釋食品加工中的原理與功用,她就是亞利安,一提到食物就停不下來!法式料理專業出身,熟習食品科學,創立小農品牌「島食 Food in Formosa」,並於台南與夥伴共同經營咖啡店「小巷裡的拾壹號」。今年夏天,她將帶上寶島友善小農故事與食品,呈現台灣農民與廚師關懷環境、人文,與土地永續的心意,帶著加拿大一起「靠嘴巴愛台灣」! 每堂課只有十二個位子,要報名就要快!
