Code Red: Hasbean Coffeology Tasting

March 25, 2018 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm PDT

Join us at Archive at Revolver for this rare opportunity to experience the book, Coffeeography, through a selection of coffees.

Coffeeography is written by Steve Leighton, founder of Hasbean, Stafford, UK. The book offers a comprehensive look into the histories and stories of over 40 coffee producers across 11 countries that Steve has worked with in his extensive travels to origin.

On Sunday, March 25 we will taste through a curated set of coffees featured in the book. Follow along in your own book by placing your order today.  We will share a discussion about the coffee’s story and how these factors play a role in the way the coffee tastes.

Hasbean is a global pioneer in the specialty coffee industry. They have led the way in establishing effective models of responsible coffee sourcing and industry leadership. Most recently, one of their wholesale manager, Dale Harris, became the 2017 World Barista Champion last November. The relationship Steve established with a producer in El Salvador resulted in a special coffee that Dale used to win the WBC.

Tickets include:

– tasting of 12 brewed coffees

– 2 coffee samples

– option to purchase your favourite bag of retail

– option to take the book home ($40, no additional shipping)
