Heritage Hosts Lunar New Year Charitable Dinners with Chefs Will Lew and Sharon Chan

Celebrate the Year of the Snake with an exclusive, charitable dining experience hosted by Heritage Restaurant and Bar. On January 19 and 20, Heritage will partner with Chef Will Lew of Pacific Reach and Chef Sharon Chan of MAMAintheKitchen to host two fundraising dinners benefitting the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation. This event honors Lunar New Year traditions while supporting the revitalization of Vancouver’s historic Chinatown.

The four-course dinner will feature 13 dishes that showcase Lunar New Year’s cultural richness, with highlights like Salted Egg Yolk Crusted Pork Belly and Heritage BBQ Chicken. A mix of locally sourced ingredients from Canadian Kelp Resources, Fanny Bay Oysters, and others will be used in this collaborative menu. Guests will enjoy live performances by Marie Hui and Kristin Fung, making this a truly special evening.

“We are thrilled to celebrate Lunar New Year by coming together over incredible food to support Chinatown’s preservation,” says Paul Zhang, Heritage’s owner.

Tickets are priced at $98 per person, with optional drink pairings available à la carte. All proceeds benefit the Vancouver Chinatown Foundation.
