Nook Opens Newest Location in Vancouver’s Coal Harbour

Nook has officially opened its newest outpost in the heart of Coal Harbour. Located on the ground floor of The Stack, British Columbia’s tallest office tower, Nook Coal Harbour brings the brand’s signature charm, house-made Italian fare, and warm hospitality to the downtown core.

“We believe that neighbourhoods are better with a Nook,” says Benjamin Cooney of Nook Restaurants. “Our goal is to create a space where locals, workers, and visitors can relax, connect, and enjoy great food and drink.”

The 107-seat restaurant features a 32-seat covered patio, a spacious central bar, and an open kitchen that lets diners watch as hand-crafted pizzas and pastas come to life. The design captures the energy of Coal Harbour while preserving Nook’s signature cozy feel, blending modern elegance with a welcoming vibe.

The menu includes familiar fan-favourites alongside dishes exclusive to this location. Highlights include the Stuzzico Dip, a smoky blend of roasted eggplant and sweet peppers served with house-made focaccia—as well as the Roasted Half Chicken topped with olives, chickpeas, preserved lemon, and sultanas. A savoury Caesar salad with baked pecorino wafers adds a fresh spin to a classic, while the Pistachio Parfait, layered with white chocolate crema, shortbread crumble, whipped cream, mint, and passionfruit, makes for a perfect finish.

On the beverage side, guests can enjoy a curated list of Italian wines and craft cocktails. Along with classics like the Negroni and Aperol Spritz, the menu features a seasonal Limoncello Spritz, the fan-favourite Paper Plane, and Nook’s own El Popo—a fiery twist on the spicy margarita.

Nook Coal Harbour is now open daily for lunch, happy hour, and dinner at 1155 Melville Street.

The Coal Harbour opening marks the latest chapter in Nook’s growth since its start in Vancouver’s West End in 2009. Known for its Italian comfort food made with local and imported ingredients, Nook has expanded across B.C. and Ontario. Each location, from Kitsilano and Olympic Village to the Shipyards and even Thunder Bay, brings Nook’s signature warmth and community spirit to a new neighbourhood. Now part of LFG Growth Partners, the brand continues to grow with the same warm, community-driven spirit.
