Set against a backdrop of rich history, this new exciting venture promises to redefine the city’s drinking culture with its unique blend of vintage charm and innovative mixology.
As Prophecy gears up for its grand opening, this legendary space is ready to embark on its next journey under the expert guidance of At Home Hospitality’s skilled owner-operators. Spearheaded by the dynamic trio of operating partners – Justin Mensah-Coker, Mike Rose, and Teddy Wilkie – Prophecy signifies another milestone for the seasoned veterans behind successful Vancouver establishments like Banter Room and The Living Room at Hotel Belmont. Their collective expertise forms the foundation of At Home Hospitality‘s dedication to providing exceptional experiences and warm hospitality in the city.
Prophecy will unveil an extensive cocktail menu curated by Beverage Director Jeff Savage, renowned for his creativity and expertise showcased at Botanist Bar at the Fairmont Pacific Rim. Recognized as Canada’s Bartender of the Year in 2020 by Canada’s 100 Best, and World Class Canada Bartender of the Year in 2019 by Diageo, Savage’s innovative creations have earned widespread acclaim. Notably, his contributions propelled Botanist to rank fourth in Canada’s Best 50 Bars in 2023 and earned him Vancouver’s MICHELIN Guide Exceptional Cocktails Award in 2022.
Assisting Jeff in bringing his vision to fruition is Bar Manager Nicole Cote, with extensive experience from notable Vancouver establishments such as AnnaLena and Published on Main.
To enhance the overall Prophecy experience, a selection of meticulously crafted dishes will complement Savage’s unique cocktail program. Leading the Prophecy team as General Manager is Matteo Caniglia, bringing leadership experience from The Parlour, Glowbal Group, and Viaggio Hospitality Group (Ancora, Cibo Trattoria).
Designed by the renowned Ste Marie Studio, the venue itself is a work of art, seamlessly blending classic aesthetics with modern sophistication.
