Tacofino Opens New Squamish Location on the Sea to Sky Highway in Late Summer

Tacofino, known for its Baja-inspired cuisine, is thrilled to announce the opening of its newest location in Squamish on the scenic Sea to Sky Highway, set to open in late summer 2023.

Conveniently located in the Squamish Station shopping centre, just a short distance from Highway 99, Tacofino Squamish will be the perfect spot to refuel before or after fun adventures in the picturesque Squamish Valley.

The new location will offer approximately 20 seats for indoor dining, as well as a full take-out program featuring Tacofino’s signature tacos, burritos, and appetizers. The lunch and dinner menus will include vegetarian and vegan options to accommodate various dietary preferences, along with daily specials, a happy hour from 3-6pm, and seasonal menu features that showcase Tacofino’s culinary inspirations. Of course, Tacofino’s famous margaritas and a carefully curated selection of local and imported beers will be available for unwinding after a day of exploring.

The interior décor and design of Tacofino Squamish are being meticulously crafted by Shiloh Sukkau in collaboration with architect Nada Awadi from Studio Beige and graphic artist Courtney Presber. The concept for the new location is described as “bright and relaxed, with simplified forms and straightforward materials,” drawing inspiration from California diners, hand-drawn punk posters, and 80’s minimalism.
