These Vancouver Restaurants Awarded Gold in 2023


The 34th annual Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards made a return and slightly adjusted its scope after a series of modified awards in previous years. The winners of this prestigious event, which celebrates the best of Vancouver’s thriving dining scene, were unveiled on Monday afternoon. The award ceremony took place at the Italian Cultural Centre.

Kitslano’s AnnaLena leads the bunch of winners with winning Restaurant of the Year, Chef of the Year (to chef/owner Michael Robbins), and Best Contemporary. And the newcomer in Mount Pleasant, Suyo has also made an impressive run and taken home 2 golds in Best New Restaurant and Best Latin American.
