Known for its plant-based comfort-food, Beetbox has introduced the new ‘Beet the Heat’ Slushie Buckets and also brought back its popular Beach Bag Combos for two at its West End location.
Each slushie bucket comes with a 4-litre bucket filled with cantaloupe-apple slushie mix, ladle, four cups, straws and garnishes for $29, with add-ons that include 375-mL mickeys of Cazadores Tequila Reposado ($20) or Bombay Sapphire gin ($17) or a 200-mL bottle of St-Germain elderflower liqueur ($17).
Slushies are also available by the glass (16 oz) for $5, with mini 50-mL bottles of vodka or gin available as add-ons for $5 each.
The new slushies will also be available as part of Beetbox’s popular Beach Bag Combos, which feature a picnic ready feast with sandwiches, sides, and 2 beverages (alcoholic or virgin) for $49 plus tax.
Also watch out for Beetbox’s weekly special of vegan, vegetarian and flexitarian-friendly fare which changes every Tuesday, with the latest — the Filet o’ Phish (beer-battered tofu filet, meyer lemon tartar sauce, pickles, shedduce, potato bun) — available exclusively until Tuesday, May 11.
