The iconic Black Lagoon is making a triumphant return to Butcher & Bullock, and it’s back even bigger, eerier, and noisier than ever before.

Release your inner eccentric and let your freak flag fly! Black Lagoon is not merely a run-of-the-mill bar pop-up; it’s an immersive adventure that celebrates the whimsical aspects of the supernatural, bizarre, macabre, and horror genres, spiced up with a hint of goth and metal vibes. While you’re here, you can indulge in the creative and delightful eerie cocktails.

The Twisted Cocktails menu:

  • Creature Feature: Made with Absolut, Lustao fino sherry, sugar, Giffard banana, lemon saline, bitter queen’s tobacco bitters, and chlorophyll.
  • Black Magic: Crafted from coconut-washed Altos tequila, Kahlua, cold brew concentrate, Lustau amontillado sherry, agave, saline, bitter queen’s Chinese 5 spice bitters.
  • Book of Blood: A concoction of Montelobos Mezcal, Giffard pimente, beet juice, lime, miso falernum.
  • Death Rattle: Comprising Ford’s gin, Lustau brandy, Lustau amontillado, pineapple, lime juice, spiced oat orgeat syrup, saline, bitter queen’s Caribbean spice bitters, mint, nutmeg.

Meet the masterminds behind these spine-tingling libations:

Erin Hayes, a native of Chicago, boasts a career deeply rooted in the hospitality industry. Notably, she served as the bar manager at Lost Lake, a bar that earned critical acclaim, including Imbibe Magazine’s Bar of The Year (2015) and numerous James Beard Foundation Outstanding Bar Program Award nominations. Erin currently resides in Los Angeles and serves as the Beverage Director at the prestigious Fairmont Century Plaza Hotel.

Kelsey Ramage, with over 17 years of experience in the hospitality sector, is a multi-faceted expert in education, entrepreneurship, sommelier work, and bartending. As the director of the Trash Collective, she educates bartenders worldwide, both personally and in collaboration with Pernod Ricard, where she is a global sustainability ambassador. Before embarking on her personal projects, Kelsey was a lead bartender at London’s Dandelyan bar, which received accolades such as Best Bar Team, Best Menu, and World’s Best Bar.

Black Lagoon is available from October 4 to 31, and admission is free. However, prepare yourself for some delightful chills and thrills.
