On the same day when they announced the annual Vancouver Magazine Restaurant Awards 2023, Canada’s Best 100 Restaurants were also announced in Toronto.
There are 18 restaurants in British Columbia on the list and 15 of them are in Vancouver. The judges welcomed two first-time top 10 winners from BC: AnnaLena ranked no.9 and Kissa Tanto ranked no.10. Last year’s no.1, Published on Main, and no.3, St. Lawrence dropped 2 and 3 spots respectively, sitting at no.3 and no.6 this year.
Montreal’s Mon Lapin came to the top, becoming the first Quebec restaurant to win the title since 2016.
