Vancouver’s Bubble Tea Festival Returns to Burnaby in 2023 with a “Taste of Taiwan” Theme

Canada Bubble Tea Festival returned to Burnaby’s Swangard Stadium as the 2023 Versante Hotel Bubble Tea Festival from July 7 to July 9. After attracting over 20,000 attendees in the inaugural year, the festival aims to take attendees on another full adventure exploring the diverse flavours of bubble tea, delicious street food, and colourful Asian culture.

This year, the theme is “Taste of Taiwan,” with Taipei being the first stop on the expedition series. The organizers promise a summer full of food, drinks, and festivities that attendees will never forget. The 2023 festival is sponsored by Luroufan Tasty, EpicFest Productions & Fantuan Delivery

The festival is expanding in several ways this year. The event will now take place over three days, from Friday to Sunday, with longer operating hours until 10 pm. There will be added theme areas and decorations, a 60% increase in the total number of booths, and more entertainment and game booths. Attendees can also enjoy two nights of outdoor movies on Friday and Saturday at 8 pm, a bigger stage with more diverse performances, and an even greater variety of bubble tea, street foods, arts, and crafts.

Admission to the festival costs $9.99 for a 1-day pass or $14.99 for a 3-day pass. Children under 12 can attend for free.
