Fairmont Hotel Vancouver’s Notch8 Reveals its Colourful Pop Art-Inspired Afternoon Tea Service

Notch8 at Fairmont Hotel Vancouver is set to unveil a new themed Afternoon Tea service called the Art of Afternoon Tea, which draws inspiration from the vibrant and colourful world of pop art. The new tea service is led by Notch8 Head Chef Danai Hongwanishkul, with Koncept Events in charge of venue design.

Featuring avant-garde decor, dishes, and cocktails, the Art of Afternoon Tea menu items are all crafted to reflect the colours, shapes, textures, and themes of the visual pop art movement. From a playful ‘blank canvas’ cheesecake with edible paints to vibrant tomato soup and artistic cocktails in unique glassware, every item is a work of art.

The tea room and menu are adorned with bright pops of colour, bold patterns, and designs that create an immersive experience for all guests.

The Art of Afternoon Tea will be available from May 25 to September 4, with seatings on Wednesday to Sunday and statutory holiday Mondays at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. The experience is priced at $74.00 per person ($40.00 for children 12 and under), which includes a selection of loose-leaf tea, sweet and savoury bites, and optional add-ons such as creative cocktails and wines.
